It’s the early 2000s. Giorgia is thirteen and part of her small town’s youth swimming team, training every day at the local public pool. During a practice session, she realizes she is the only one among her teammates who has not developed breasts yet. She had never noticed it before, but what begins as a simple discovery soon turns into an obsession: she asks her grandmother how to fix the “problem,” reads absurd articles online suggesting she eat fennel, and constantly observes the women around her in search of a solution.
